Contract repository software stores signed agreements in one searchable place with their key terms. NonDisclosures keeps every NDA in a register you can search by counterparty, owner, type, status and expiry, answers whether you have an NDA with a company in one lookup, and exports everything to CSV.

In short
NDAs sent through NonDisclosures enter the register automatically with their signed PDF and expiry date. Older agreements can be uploaded as PDF or DOCX, and on paid plans AI extracts their parties, term, governing law, expiry and key terms. Storage holds 500, 5,000 or 50,000 documents depending on the plan.
Do we have an NDA with this company
It is the question every sales rep, recruiter and founder asks before sharing something sensitive, and in most companies it ends in a hunt through email. In NonDisclosures you type the company name and the lookup answers in plain terms. It shows the signed NDA if one exists, with its signature date and expiry, or tells you the last agreement expired, or that one is out for signature and who still has to sign, or that only a draft exists. If there is nothing, generating and sending one takes a couple of minutes.
Because the answer comes from the same records that drive signing and reminders, it is current the moment a signature lands. Nobody has to remember to file the PDF.
A register that fills itself
Every NDA generated from a template, such as a mutual NDA, becomes a register entry the moment it is created. As it moves through signing, the entry picks up the status, the signer timeline, the signed PDF with its certificate page and the expiry date calculated from the term clause. The register lists all of it in one sortable table.
| Field | How it gets there | How you use it |
|---|---|---|
| Counterparty and email | Entered when the NDA is created | Search and lookup |
| Title and type | From the template or the upload | Filter mutual, one-way, employee, contractor, investor, M&A or uploaded |
| Owner | The team member who created it | Filter by person or team |
| Status | Updated automatically as signers act | Filter open, signed, declined, expired, voided |
| Effective date and expiry | Calculated from the term clause or extracted by AI | Expiry window filter and reminders |
| Governing law | Chosen in the builder or extracted by AI | Spot agreements under unusual law |
Upload legacy NDAs with AI extraction
A repository is only useful if the old agreements are in it too. Upload NDAs signed before you used NonDisclosures as PDF or DOCX files up to 10 MB. On paid plans, AI reads each document and extracts the parties and their roles, the NDA type, effective date, term, expiry date, governing law, the confidentiality period after the term and whether there is a non-solicit. Each extraction uses one AI analysis from your monthly allowance of 10, 60 or 300.
Once extracted, uploaded NDAs behave like the ones you send. They appear in search and filters, count in the dashboard and receive expiry reminders 60, 30 and 7 days before the end date. If you want a risk read rather than just the terms, run an AI NDA review on the same file.
Search, filters and CSV export
Search matches the counterparty name, the NDA title and the counterparty email. Filters narrow the list by status, NDA type (including uploaded agreements), expiry window and owner, and the columns sort by date. Any member, including viewers, can export the current list to CSV with title, counterparty, email, type, status, owner, effective date, expiry, governing law, sent and fully signed dates, source and a link back to the NDA. That file drops straight into a board pack, a due diligence request or a spreadsheet for finance.
Storage limits by plan
Storage counts the documents kept in your workspace, both NDAs sent through NonDisclosures and uploaded agreements. Plans are flat per team, not per seat.
| Plan | Stored documents | AI analyses per month | Team members | Price billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 500 | 10 | 2 | 24 USD per month |
| Business | 5,000 | 60 | 10, with roles | 74 USD per month |
| Company | 50,000 | 300 | Unlimited | 249 USD per month |
Monthly billing is 49, 149 and 499 USD. For tracking statuses and reminders across the same records, see contract tracking software for NDAs.
Roles, retention and security
On Business and Company, roles keep the repository orderly. Admins manage members, templates and settings, editors create, send and upload NDAs, and viewers search, read and export without changing anything. Company adds unlimited members, multiple workspaces for subsidiaries or deal teams, SSO (SAML), audit log export and data retention settings that control how long records are kept.
Every connection uses TLS, documents sit in private storage that is never publicly reachable with an access check on every download, every signed agreement carries its audit trail, and you can export your data at any time. NonDisclosures is a software tool, not a law firm, so how long you must keep agreements under your own policies or obligations is a question for your counsel.
Questions and answers
What is contract repository software?
It is a central, searchable store for signed agreements and their key terms, usually with filters, exports and date reminders. NonDisclosures provides one built specifically for NDAs.
How do I check whether we already have an NDA with a company?
Type the company name in the lookup. It shows the signed NDA and its expiry, an expired one, one that is out for signature, a draft, or confirms there is none.
Can I upload NDAs we signed on paper or in another tool?
Yes. Upload PDF or DOCX files up to 10 MB. On paid plans AI extracts the parties, term, governing law, expiry and key terms.
How many documents can I store?
Starter stores 500 documents, Business 5,000 and Company 50,000.
Can I export the repository?
Yes. Any member can export the current register view to CSV, and signed PDFs can be downloaded from each NDA. Business and Company can also export signed PDFs to cloud drives.
Does deleting an NDA free up my monthly sending limit?
No. Monthly limits count NDAs sent and analyses run in the billing period, so deleting a record never gives quota back.
